Special Interest Group – School of Education

The Special Interest Group on Teacher Policy at the School of Education, LUMS, is dedicated to fostering a collaborative platform for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions on teacher-related policies. Our mission is to develop, refine, and implement policies that elevate the standards of teaching, support educators in their
professional growth, and ultimately enhance the quality of education in our society.
Through active participation, we aim to create a space where innovative ideas and practical solutions can flourish, addressing the challenges faced by teachers at all levels. Our focus includes setting up clear roles and responsibilities within the SIG, establishing transparent decision-making processes, and ensuring that all members have a voice in shaping the future of teacher policy
